Our club hosted the Great Lakes Futurity last year and we made a very nice
profit. I do not have the specific numbers in front of me, but it was
substancial. In fact we bid on hosting a Futurity as often as we can because
that money keeps our club going. Without hosting a futurity every few years, I
am not sure where we would be. I do not believe we have ever lost money on a
Futurity.
**Granted, I know we are in an ideal location (central Ohio) and this may not
apply to all clubs.....
