SUN !!!!!
What a trip. The first day we got to Ashland to find the Mt. Ashland pass
closed. So on Friday we took off at 5:30 AM and by-passed the road block on 99
East then in a pack of trucks we took off. Mt Shasta was breath taking at
sunrise Mother nature was working magic in pastels. My camera was so buried I
couldn't reach it and we were afraid if we stopped our climb over the pass we
would never get started again. We got to LA just it time for the 6:00 PM
traffic. What we totally forgot was the people headed to Phoenix this weekend
for the Super Bowl. It was a crawl for the 245 miles. So after 23 hours of
driving straight through we are here safe and sound.
