Let me simplify it for you. It is MORE than the OFA certs required for the
GSDCA AOE.
The cert came in the mail today. I didn't ask, nor apply, for it. It just
showed up in my mailbox!!
The Certificate says CHIC #64047
Required tests:
GSDCA Temperament Test
Elbows
Hips
Cardiac
Thyroid
DNA Data Bank
His OFA page is really cute with the CHIC logo all over it. I guess I should
pay the $10 and put his pic on the page. I don't know if many people actually
look there. But, it is only $10.
Evan asked me today when will I have won enough!! I will have to think about
that. I don't think we are done yet.......not even medium rare, actually!!
This is way too much fun and a great way to spend weekends......better than
Bingo, even!! Actually, at dinner tonight, I told an all-breed Bouv handler
about Evan's comment. He laughed with me........yeah, like I'm gonna stop
this dream of a lifetime!!! :-) :-) JR just grinned; no comment; he knows
my dreams and is doing his best for me....he is really enjoying our luck, too!!
I work for a California (read bankrupt) public school district. We are being
forced to take furlough days due to huge budget cuts. I have the greatest
boss...he said I can take my furlough days whenever I want. Guess when I want
them???? You got it.....on 3 and 4 day dog show weekends!! Every cloud really
does have a silver lining.
Sally, if Evan and Tedi would only have let me spay Ch. Diana when I wanted to
(day one of her first heat -- my dogs are pets first, show dogs secondly, and I
really don't like living with intact bitches), you would not have to read
Evan's brags. Nor my inane posts. Of course, I wouldn't have had my first
champion, so, I thank them for that, too, every day. What greater friends can
you have?? First Di, now Harley. WOW!!! I don't think that they realized
that they were creating an obsessed dog show person, though. But, I smile a
lot.....a LOT!!
Harley has not yet been neutered, so that particular rumor is premature. He is
not, and will not be, a transvestite, though...he would be WAY too butch for
that. :-) :-) Even soaking wet, he is ALL male!!
Thanks for the attention......that is what we all want, after all......oh,
yeah.......and TONS of luck!!
Sometimes I think that I am the luckiest person on earth.
