I don't know where you are judging and who is telling you this. I have been
judging for 10 years have done many, many all breeds and I have never been told
to put a better dog for the group. NOT ONCE in 10 years so you must be
judging for the wrong clubs. I think when judging the best animals needs to win
no
matter what ring that animal is in whether it be AB or Specialty. One should
not try to do the Group judging unless they are standing in the middle of the
Group ring and they are the judge that will point the finger.
