I keep looking at the income/loss figures.
Here is what I get out of it. The GSDCA lost money in 2014 and 2015, and
we were at Purina Farms those two years. The National gained $93,000 those
years, so, unless I am reading it wrong, the GSDCA lost $125,000, from the
money made at the National and the lost revenue.
Then the big year, Beaumont where we lost $30,000 in 2008 at the National
but have no figure for how the club did. In 2013 the National only lost
$4,000 at the National but the club lost $114,000.
Then when we went to Loveland, the National had a big loss of $15,000, but
the club make money of $8,000, (2012). Maybe we need another business man
like Frank to take over our club.
Now, I know I am not a genius with figures, but maybe less when I look at
these. It seems to me the problem is not the National, but the club and
they use the National to make up for the other losses.
It might be time to look at the other club finances, and stop using the
National to support what other services need to be modified.
