The Old guard will not allow it. Been there, done that. They don't want new
involvement. They want to keep it all in their little inner circle.
While on the subject shouldn't the board members be required to work at the
Nationals? From first hand experience I can tell you there was very
little help last year at the Nationals. I having been judging for 15 years and
have done to many shows to count and the hospitality from this National club
was the ABSOUTLY WORSE I have ever encountered. I have never had to stand
in line at a Concession stand to purchase my own lunch until I judged for
the GSDCA. I have judged small AB (here we go AB/Specialty)<G> with better
hospitality than I received for a National Breed Club.
I think we just saw recently one of the judges for this year asking if
there was a Nationals in Utah. Better be prepared to take care of yourself
when you judge the Nationals for the GSDCA.

you don't get to participate in running the the club . You don't even get

committees. Every year it is the same old people new people don't stand

chance. Take a look at the nominating committee same ol people every few

futurity judges and the national judges. There are plenty of others who
would be willing to work for the club but when year after year they are
ignored People just give up and say the heck with it
