Yes, there are dog shows being held in cities that have s/n laws, no breeding
laws, restrictive and harsh limit/breeding laws in L.A., in CA and across the
nation. And shows being held in communities which have Animal Control
misusing their power absolutely.
In order to find a venue large enough to have a good sized show,
(parking, motels, transportation ease) you need a decent sized community. Then
you
need the city to give permission. Looking through the city's ordinances first
would be a plus, but looking at everything, the fanciers are having a hard
enough time getting the venue! L.A. County has one of the biggest shows
(Mission Circuit) with all the specialties involved.
The restrictions have to be challenged and struck down...the restrictions
have to be challenged and fought BEFORE they are implemented. Looking for new
"clear" venues will soon be impossible if that is the first priority.
