And then there is the owners who for the most part, loose track of the age on
their dogs. I had an employee who came to work for us that has a Belgem mix.
She had her since she was a pup and when she started the dog was 5 years
old. She worked for us approximately 5 years and within 6 mo after she left
she
lost her dog to kidney failure. In her words, she was 15 years old? Again
people loose track unless they have great records, such as registration papers,
etc.
