Ahh... But a wolfdog is not a hybrid since wolves and dogs
are the same species. One is just the domesticated form of
the other. I'm talking about 2 entirely different species
(i.e., having different numbers of chromosomes) bred
together, which is what a "hybrid" truly is. Common examples
of true hybrids would be a horse mated to a donkey or a
zebra bred to a horse. Most often, the offspring of these
crosses will be infertile... but not always, which was my
original point. Oh yeah... There ARE true male calico/torty
cats too, which is also something that wasn't supposed to
exist. Some of them are even fertile as well.

Hmmmm.... Ain't genetics fun???  :D
