Glad you, family and dogs are safe, Greg. Thanks for the updates...

Earthquakes in Southern CA... Big drenching thunderstorm for us here
in the high desert (still hot).

I'm reading of the damage of Isaac now, and not over yet.

Take care.

It's daylight. Hurricane Isaac eye is less than 10 miles south. So,
it's worse now. News says been stationary the last 1-2 hours.
Damage to kennel roof. I can't go check on the dogs. Lost about 10
feet of trim coil on my house

Just lost about 10 feet of trim coil. Went pull it off, before it hit
me truck. Rain not to bad but the wind is blowing. Radar showing we in
green, but orange and red not far behind.

Was able to get some sleep. Looks like the eye went back offshore
again and made a second landfall. Electricity went out but our
generator clicked on. Isaac is just sitting right over us. All is
good. Keep us in yall prayers.

It's pretty bad. I think the weather forecasters under estimated this.
They are saying we have 70 mph sustained winds. Sustain is 3 hours or
more. So, gust are higher.
But, we are good. Our hurricane shutters are doing it job. We have a
whole house generator. We still have electricity

Guys it's pretty bad. Winds cranked up around 1 pm today. The eye will
probably come right over Thibodaux and Houma. News is saying winds in
Thibodaux area 41 mph.
Linda, our crew and my self shuttered about 20 houses and a wal Mart
since Sunday.
We are good and dogs are safe.
