Hi Fellow Listers, I've got a favor to ask... Please keep the folks living in Eastern NC, and along the Middle-North Atlantic seaboard, in your thoughts and prayers. Earl is predicted to hit the Outer Banks of NC in about 14 hours, and it's one big bad storm! A category 4 hurricane with sustained winds of 140 mph and gusts up to 170 mph. My partner, Kim Moseley, and our dogs live 5 minutes from the water -- just West of the Outer Banks. Libby Cameron and Kathy Potter live South-West of the Outer Banks. Not as close to the water, but close enough to receive some pretty bad winds. My biggest fear is knowing that many tornadoes are spawned by these hurricanes. That's how my own property was almost destroyed one year when a hurricane turned inland. Thanks in advance, my Friends.
