I am not picking on Sherry, but this sort of thing is too much.

Look, we have the right to decide who is and who is not in our club. We
don't spend much time with each other, other than at the National. Why would
anyone quit because of whom becomes a member?

I am sure there are people who hate that I am a member, but they know I am
only one vote, and they can help to correct any bad influence I might exert.

The point I am trying to make, and probably not well, (shut up Paul), is
that we have a great board who will listen to us. They have so far, and they
will do what is best for the club. They will decide if this one person should
be a member or not. I have my opinion, too. But, I am not on the board, but
we have selected a group of excellent people to sit on our board who are going
to support us, if they find that is the right thing to do.

If what the board does is something I do not agree with, and they have in
the past, then I will try to change things in the future. I didn't like the
idea
of limiting Selects by the judge; I didn't like the conditional class; I
didn't like the elimination of the Northern Pacific Futurity; and those
things have now changed.

It makes no sense to leave the club because you don't like something that
happens. We joined to support this breed, and no matter who joins, we will
still
support our breed, our club, and our members by working for the GSDCA.

Have faith in our board, they try as hard as they can to do the right thing,
and are there to represent us. We gave them that authority, and now we
should let them do what we elected them to do.

If you don't agree with them, work hard to change things in the future. That
is how we fulfill our obligation to the breed. As a matter of fact, if they
don't do the right thing, more people should join the club, so that they can
work to change things, not leave because you don't like someone becoming a
member.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.
