When my Skye finished his championship on the first day of a two day weekend
everyone was urging me to keep him in the Open class the next day so the major
would hold. I did so and thank Heavens someone's dog also finished that next
day. I probably would have moved him up if the folks had not persuaded me to
do otherwise.
