No, we aren't "all" in trouble. Thankfully, I am a member of a diverse and
enthusiastic group of people celebrating all aspects of the GSD.
Just how enthusiast? Take a look at our 2006 Schedule:
Saturday April 8, AB Rally (limited to 300 entries)
Sunday April 9, AB OB and GSD Specialty
August 26, AB TC and CGC
August 27, GSD match
September 23-24 AB Agility (huge!)
Saturday October 7, AB Rally and AB OB (should be huge!)
Sunday October 8, GSD Specialty & OB
Meetings are the 3rd Tuesday of every month excluding June & July. Board
meetings are the 1st Tuesday, year round.
The ticket IMO is being INCLUSIVE. When clubs are catering only to one part
of the GSD community, seem "click-ish" or give the appearance of existing
solely to sell puppies and promote the breeding of a select few, interest will
wane, membership will dwindle and you won't have enough worker bees to help
w/ all of the above.
