You're right though, I should have said the male was a CARRIER not that he HAD DM...but either way I still wouldn't breed to him. I'd find another nice dog who wasn't a carrier. I have a hard time believing that there would ever have to be a choice between breeding away from serious health problems like DM and making nice babies.
