Last year I showed a bitch at a 2 point show that just needed her majors. It
lacked 4 bitches for a major, but there were 6 specials entered. She went WB
for 2 points and Best of Breed over all the specials to give her a major. One
exhibitor had her finger in my face accusing me of taking single points, I
didn't need. She had one of the specials. <G> Anytime it adds up to a major
with the specials, I will go for it. Michigan had only one all breed major in
2005. They're tough to come by. Michelle Billings was the judge. Sandra

Years ago, I had an Elkie that had 13 points, including one major. I
believe that I
entered 11 shows before I found one that carried a major. I never attended
any of those shows that were not carrying a major.
Thank goodness, he
finished at this one. I would never think to take points away from
another dog
when I did not need them!!!
