because the coat of an aussie is quite, quite different than a long coated
GSD....I've had them both, apples an oranges.
The bottom line is, if we want to remove all faults out of the standard, so
be it. Meanwhile, lets be the stewards of the breed we are supposed to be
an adhere to the current standard.

I'm well aware of that...my point is.....long coats are not a particular
probem for other herding breeds,,,why judge it so harshly in GSD.
