I picked my first GSD because he was the only puppy that wasn't hiding and he cost $150.00. He was a loon but he wanted to please me so much he over came his temperament and got a CD in obedience. That's how I got my GSD mentors. I got my second GSD after spending the afternoon interacting with the litter and watching the puppies interact with each other and talking to the breeder. I wanted a performance dog and this one titled in obedience and herding. I picked my third GSD after driving from TX to Little Rock, AR. My mentor and I watched as two litter mates gaited off lead. We chose the dog over the bitch and the choice was a good one. He became a multiple group placing, group winning dog.
