Ken, Are you saying no matter how many Champions are entered you can only
award one dog and one bitch the GC points? The instructions I have do not
say you are limited one of each. I would think if you have 15 champions
entered and you felt 3 or 4 deserve GR Ch points you could award them. I am
sure if I am wrong someone will correct me. <G>

The AKC does not want any interaction between Judge and Ring Steward
regarding whether a dog is a CH or not. The judge is to award the GC
Selects
and if the dog is not eligible the AKC will sort it out. BOB and BOS
automatically get the Select points and then one additional dog and bitch
"can" be awarded. WD and WB are not eligible.
