[ SHOWGSD-L ] How Are they?????

,,,,I get the feeling that over the past several years there is a general
feeling of "dis-connect' between the Board and the general membership...several
things have lead to this....the Law-suit by Margery, the controversial
membership by the commercial puppy miler guy ( forgot his name)...the 2013
World Show , the White dog saga, and now the Review......both side have blame
for the tensions between the Board and Us......but I'm putting more criticism
on the board...the behind door sessions, and votes banning list communication,
and general lack of information ( see above subjects) contributes greatly to
the suspicious feeling...and the Board needs to put on their Big Boy (Girl)
Pants and let the criticism roll of their backs....Criticism comes with any
position of responsibility and leadership. Being silent gives the appearance of
running and hiding......now for us....we members ( Penny is it WE members or Us
members...lol)...have a tendency to lash out at almost any decision the board
makes....and many many times we don't even have all the facts.....I'm not smart
enough to figure out how to solve our problem, but I know unless both side
recognize the problem....things will continue as they are....imagine what going
to happen when the board decides to raise the dues....something that needs to
be done soon, but the board needs to also cut spending,,...too many members
flying to meeting that could be held via the phone or computer....now let the
FLames begin...lol...FB
