Pat,
Thank you so much for your concern. I have limited internet access at this
time. My family and I (as well as several other families) are staying in
Trinity, TX (north of Houston) at my sister's lake house. We are fine for the
moment. I do have my two GSD with me. I don't know a lot about my house; but
I think it's not as bad as we first had heard. I don't think it got totally
under water; but from what I can find out we probably had a few feet of water
at some point. I think we will be able to salvage the house....if we ever get
to go back home.
Again, you're concern touches me greatly. I've been "flying under the radar"
the past few months and it makes me feel good to know that there are people
like you who haven't forgotten me. God is faithful!!! There are many people
affected by this tragedy. Trust in God to both know the future and have it in
His hands will give us all hope in a seemingly hopeless situation. In the
midst of death and destruction we will see resurrection as we keep our eyes on
the one who holds our future.
God bless all of you who are being used as the Lord's hands and feet to bring
about His provision for all of us that have endured this terrible ordeal.
