Homeopathic remedies in pellet form are meant to be held in the mouth for about a minute before being swallowed. Dogs who are bloating are not likely to gulp the pellets. However, if they do, the remedy will still work. The nice thing about the liquid form is that if it cannot be given orally, it can be rubbed into the pads of the feet. In a crisis, I give a remedy every 5 minutes until the symptoms reappear. If there are no symptoms, the Nux remedy is withheld and the dog evaluated to see if another remedy would be more appropriate. Giving the Nux Mocheta should be considered emergency action on the way to the vet.
