[ SHOWGSD-L ] Hoflin's GS Quarterly-copies produced.

Statement of Ownership, Management and Circulation.
I thought I noticed this last year but was not sure since the table they
published was very, very small and hard to read.
This year the table was actually readable and it shows that the average
issues produced and the last issue produced is very, very low. For
instance, and this is in their Fall 2006 issue, page 38, their last issue
column showed that they only produced 345 copies (and sold only 323 of
them). Yes, 345 copies, not 3,450 or something larger. Yes, this includes
all of their subscriptions, paid or complimentary. I bring this up since
the magazine produces good articles of the type that never seems to make it
to the GSDCA Review magazine (though that is a good magazine, I enjoy both
magazines). I think if we want this GS Quarterly to continue (and yes I
realize that Hoflin publishes other breed magazines too and is not totally
relying on the GS Quarterly) and if we want to see the type of articles they
publish, please think about subscribing to the GS Quarterly (in addition to
the GSDCA Review!). Their web page is www.hoflin.com , by the way.
