I think his point was, while the man had preference for white so he wouldn't
shoot his own dog, it was still for a specific purpose, where as the WGSD
fanciers seem to only want to make it a separate breed so they can have the
color
they want. That there's no other reason to breed it than just wanting to show
the white color and not be DQed for it.
This is just my take on it of course.
