Yes, but I am sure that ALL of the other breeds do that as well. So in comparison there is an improvement. However it is important that breeders are honest about these things and eliminate those dogs that are effected. I had a vet tell me the entire litter should be eliminated in order to wipe it out! I agree if there are multiple dogs in a litter but if there is only one then I completely disagree...
