[ SHOWGSD-L ] High cost of Services

I was wondering what your experiences regarding charges for services has been.
I don't know if it's the high price of gasoline or what but while checking on
local vets as to what they charge for an ultra sound test done on my pregnant
bitch I was speechless. Several charge $340 for me to find out if she is
pregnant or not. I know that the equipment is very expensive, but really how
can they charge that much for a test. I think I need Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
