I think in the long run "Attitude" is what makes a good dog a star.? You could
have a good dog, pretty close to ideal but if there is no show attitude, that
"hey look at me" then its just a good dog, not that there is anything wrong
with that.? But the one with Attitude, you can't help but look at and
appreciate.... the dog just shines and screams I am the best!? I am the STAR of
this class or litter.
As with anything "Star" means something different to everyone.? This is just my
humble opinion of having a Star

Amen!!! Each dog is special in some way. A Star is any dog doing what he does
best, herding, guarding,agility, obedience, tracking. The Star factor is the
attitude that says you need not look further because you have found the best .
That is the best part. Attitude!!!

I don't know that it is "important" to own a star....
but it sure is a lot of fun.? The important part of
owning any dog is in knowing and appreciating the
qualities that each brings to your soul.
Eventually, each animal is a "star" in your memory.
