Heresy: 1) OV/OVX should have a ribbon won in the conformation ring and a TC. The CH bitch with the hematoma would still be eligible-it happens. It's pretty hard to get a 4th place ribbon with a pet quality GSD, mostly because often there are not 4 dogs in a class, so they get a 2nd or 3rd place ribbon. 2) GV/GVX and Select should have a TC and be OFA. These are our most used stud dogs, so that should be a minimum requirement.
