Let's stop dancing around on this thing, and admit what is going on. Some
board members think other board members might say things that are not true.
So, they have decided to make it official only if it comes through Constant
Contact. There is nothing wrong with that. But, when a board member talks
to me, I believe them. I have gotten a lot of information that is not
official but from a board member.
So, if the board members trusted each other to say what is true, there
would be no need for limitations on communications. But, instead the board is
trying to have the club board speak with one voice. I don't think that is
a good idea, and didn't when I talked to Ralph years ago when I insisted I
would respond, no matter what he thought.
I think there are more important things to think about, but it makes for
some good, "The Sky Is Falling" type of subject.
