I line my whelping box with a layer of egg-crate foam, covered with a vinyl backed matress protector, then a layer of newspapers, and then wrap the entire works in a twin-sized blanket, tucking in the corners (almost like making a bed military style) - last time I did this I didn't have any problems with it, and it stayed in place great (the edges of the egg-crate foam helped hold everything in place) my bitch left it alone and everyone got along great. This time, she has twice now pulled everything up and spread it around. I'm afraid she's going to do this and we're going to lose a puppy this way - I NEED SUGGESTIONS FOR THIS!! I like the blanket b/c the pups can get a good grip on it when they move, and I like the plastic backed vinyl liner b/c it keeps the foam clean. What do other folks use??
