I use the 2 glasses (very large) of wine method. I drink them look at the
puppies nail and go, hell they don't look that bad, I'll have Ruth do them next
week method. !!! Trust me it is much better for the puppy that way :0)

There's the knock'em down, they'll learn it's not near death eventually.
And there's, take more time and daily, or 2x a day, do a nail or even
touch the grinder to the nail, pat, hug, and give a tiny treat.
Both methods work, and i've done both :-) I liked the long,involved
one better as I could incorporate it in other training I was doing.
