I have a 5 month old pup who had a lump removed from deep within her neck that has been diagnosed as calcinosis circumscripta. It never bothered her, though it bothered me a lot, and she seems to be fine now. I have just discovered what I think is the same thing in one of her littermates... I imagine I will have it surgically removed, but I'm hoping some of you can tell me how you've dealt with this. I was surprised to learn it is not uncommon in young GSD's. I'm trying to find pet homes for these pups, but this sure complicates matters. Thanks for any info you can provide.
