[ SHOWGSD-L ] Help needed - transport?

A very good friend of ours has had a serious stroke and is in hospital.  His 
wife is spending most of her time there, and is trying to return to 
breeders, any of the dogs they have 'acquired' to make things easier for her 
to maintain at this time.
Currently they have two of our dogs - one Foxhound (the Great Harvey's 
nephew) and one GSD.  The GSD is her housedog and I believe is staying where 
he is, but the FH somehow needs to make his way, asap, from Hartwell, GA 
back to Ontario Canada.  
We have offered to drive down and get him next weekend as we are unable to 
before then (18 hrs one way), a suitable arrangement yesterday, but it seems 
her husband has taken a turn for the worse and I rec'd today an unsigned 
email from someone (son?) in the household, requesting that the dog be 
removed sooner.
If anyone knows of anyone coming from that direction anywhere towards 
Ontario before next weekend and could bring the dog (assuming a 500 crate) 
and I could meet them, or that be willing to keep him for a few days until 
we can get down to pick him up, it would be greatly appreciated.  The family 
is busy trying to sort affairs and take care of the remaining dogs and each 
other and cannot take him to the airport to ship at this time...
