[ SHOWGSD-L ] Help needed

This was sent to our rescue the other day. Multiple tests have been run on this
girl with no definitive results. Any ideas???
I have a 1 1/2 year old pure bred german shepherd female. She has been
sickly as a pup and is getting worse. Our vet has not been much help, has
not found an issue. She is on the thin side, even though she eats a lot
(goes poop twice a day). Her coat is thin this winter. She is ravenous for
food and water. But the worst is, she needs to pee every four hours, day
and night. It does not seem to matter how much water or when she had it
last, she pees up a storm. Example: If last water is given at diner
(six-ish), walk her at 10 and pees, walk her again at two in the morning
and pees, she will still make a mess and pee big again around 5 in the
morning. Do not know how she generates that much pee! The dog is tiring me
out and with no solution in sight, I need to do something with her. She is
getting worse and is not happy! What should I do with her? I spent the last
two years with my last GSD dealing with cushings, until she could not get
up any more, and we had to put her down at 12. What ever is bothering this
dog makes her much harder to deal with, then cushings ever was.
