Loved your post, Dave! Hehehe! However, it's not so easy... All the
boarding kennels in my area will *not* accept a bitch in heat. Like I told
Carolyn, I'm not willing to send my bitch to a kennel in another town where
I can't check on her frequently. It will have to be the dog that gets
boarded. :-(

It's not that difficult Carolyn....
First time we had a bitch in heat in the same house with Quake, we just
told him no....
* Then I replaced the door he tore down, placed the furniture back
against the door that he had moved, replaced the chainlink fence he
destroyed, apologized to all the neighbors he kept awake for several
nights, Sent Linda on a vacation she so desperately had earned in the
supervision, called my psychiatrist for some pills, talked to the vet
an\bout neutering my show dog,.....
* Then I broke down and boarded the bitch.
