And I agree 100% with this post. Someone posted (and I cant find the post)
about how some of the either SAR dogs or Police dogs somewhere didnt have the
funds for the stab proof and bullet proof vests they needed to perform their
jobs--would we be better off donating to this good cause than honoring a
mixed breed dog who's breeders hate us?
And just to note--I am NOT knocking this wonderful dog who saved this
child's life-and he should be honored--but by his "own"--not us. Unless we
want to
start honoring all the other breeds and mixed breeds that do good things.
That could get expensive--in more ways than one.
LETS TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN FIRST.
