[ SHOWGSD-L ] Heat cycle?

Just curious, I have never experienced this before but when a dog comes into
heat, can they often feel ill? My young dog is just experiencing her first
heat cycle and she seems a little of. I really honestly think I own cattle, I
have never seen dogs eat so much grass as my 2 have this year....any ideas on
this? It is driving me crazy, never seen it before.
