Well, I suppose there are always setbacks here and there, but I was truly hoping that Paw was in the clear. Today I took him to the vet, and he tested Positive for heartworms. On a good note, if you can call it that, is that it was a weak positive, and it would only be 2 sets of injections, with 1 overnight stay in the hospital if I treat him?.who am I kidding, ?if?, I should say, when I treat him. Otherwise, my vet feels he is healthy for his age, based on his exam. I did decide to do a full panel of blood workup, so once we get those results, then we will schedule the treatment. I guess I?m getting a good price for the treatments. From what I remember working at a vet?s office, it was quite expensive, but I was quoted $348.00. I did expect more. So, say a prayer for Paw, and I?ll keep you posted. Kathy H. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
