After I posted that Vioxx and Heartguard were owned by the same company, I
received a very nice e-mail informing me that I was not correct. My original
information came from my vets office, the correction came from a lister.

Heartgard is made by Merial.
Vioxx is made by Merck.
Two different companies. >>
Without trying to search on companies, subsidiaries, and brands, I'm posting
the correction I received. I received it nicely so apologies to whomever is
right or wrong.
