I don't think that Theresa is try to be negative, just make more breeders and
owners aware of the problems we do face in the breed. There are many sites that
specialize in the GSD and health problems within the breed. These groups help
with information to determine causes, treatments and cures for the many dogs of
the breed. They also help owners realize that in many cases with proper diet
and care their beloved pet can lead a normal life.
There is a lot of false info on the internet, these groups help separate fact
and fiction.
IE (cutting off the tail of the GSD when treating PF) Old treatment and
useless, but still found on the internet.
