Once again, according to the ROM Chair, regional futurity winners do not get
ROM points. I do believe that the entires of progeny under an owner/judge of
the sire or dam must be acknowledged as the problem of the owners.

If judges don't pay attention to ads, wonder why so much money is spent on
advertising???
The problem is the appearance -- if your dog becomes the #1 stud dog because
you put up four of his progeny in the futurity/Maturity -- just what do you
think a majority of the people would say? If they were not at the show and they
did not see the performances, how would you convice them that you put up the
best animals on that day?
We have enough problems with entries without adding to them.

Instead of censoring the Judge for putting up the progeny of his/her stud
dog, there is another side. Perhaps the owners who ENTERED under that Judge
should be the ones to carry the blame. As previously said in another post, if
chilled seamen was used, or if the Judge has absolutely no knowledge of the
dogs being exhibited, how are they to carry any blame at all? The appearance of
wrong-doing in this situation may need to be placed on the exhibitor, and not
on the Judge.
