We should keep that in mind the next time we call a judge crooked because 
he/she owns the sire or dam of the winner.  <veg> Maybe it's not a fast AKC 
rule, 
but I still think it's in questionable taste to show the dog because it puts 
the judge in a compromising situation.  (See Appearances in the rule book) 
Public perception at dog shows seems to err on the side of whatever is 
negative, 
so it's a no-win for the judge.  
    Just my crotchety old opinion. LOL
