If a newbie is trying to make the decision, then they should be working with a
experienced,accomplished breeder who can help them learn the things they need

Do you know any you can recommend on my side of town? That is not always
possible, practical or probable. I've been blown off more times than I've been
helped. This is the breed that all arounders warn newbies against.
Most things I learn about dogs, pedigrees and offspring are from off hand
comments.
I have faith in God, everyone else is suspect.
