I'm sure not everyone knows, but I was not born in this country, but arrived
here when I was about five years old, as a "Displaced Person" (yes, a DP - for
anyone who is old enough to remember that phrase) and am SO "Americanized" that
I do, like so many Americans, take this wonderful country of ours for granted.
It is a truly GREAT country, and thank goodness for our soldiers, and even our
politicians who keep it free and great. Happy Birthday America !!!
