[ SHOWGSD-L ] Handling for a Judge

Hi Everyone;
In regards to this question that you all have been discussing, here is the
exact wording from the AKC Guidelines For Judges:
Pelace the existing policy on page 4 with the following;
"If you use the services of an agent, instruct the agent that he/she, any
member of the agent's household, or any handling associate of the agent may not
exhibit dogs under you or any member of your household while in your employ and
for at least four months after working for you. In addition, you or a member of
your household must not knowingly use the services of an agent, any member of
the agent's household or any handling associate fo the agent to handle your
dog(s) for a least four months after the agent has exhibted under you. This
policy applies to all levels of competition."
This is very easy to understand, it means that an agent can not exhibit under
the Judge for 4 months if they worked for them, nor can they handle for them
for 4 months after they have showed under them.
This really was put into effect because of what occurred at the Irish Setter
National about two years ago.
