I visited the website of one all-breed handler - saw in one place where if you
brought your dog to them and it only needed majors, the fee was $100 PER
POINT......that was on top of the regular fee. Does anyone else out there do
this? And geez, I hate to be part of a "captive audience" - if I could show my
own dogs believe me I'd be in the ring in a heartbeat!

As a handler, I think it is fair to charge a group fee. If I show GSD's at
8 am and end up going breed, I have to stay at the show all day to show in
groups, say around 2 or 3. It is another class, I groom the dog again...

I understand your reasoning...but it works out to $150 a day for one dog
plus expenses. JR, on the other hand, charges for the Breed and a Bonus if
he places in the Group. I'd never seen it done that way before and
wanted to know if it was prevalent.
