I love what Scharo wrote, Handlers & Septic Tanks...funny!
Things do cost more. When I was flying all over the country to shows the
expense was outragious even then. To suppliment the expense I used puppy sales
and stud fees. There was a mushroom effect. The more BOB's I got on the dog,
the more stud fees and the more BOB's on the bitches, the more puppy sales. I
did advertise monthly in the Review and had a designated Review page for years.
I miss the advertising now. Even though we have new outlets for getting our
message to people, advertising in the Review is still the best. If you can
afford it, consider this avenue. I would change the pre Nationals ads to the
July issue at the moment, until more reliable mailing houses can be found. The
Review is fun and I remember stopping everything to read it. I would love to
see it go back to 50 or more ads a month. I think we all would.
