Spoke with Pat who is already at the show site...thank heavens she kept the
two crates in her van! Thank you EVERYONE for your compassion and generosity!
Shandra was the last of the Walker 4...the four dogs that were pulled LITERALLY
moments before being IP injected with Fatal Blue in the Walker county facility!
She is a sad little moth eaten, down eared sable throwaway who had to fight for
her food in this miserable place for two months! While she is still trying to
understand that other dogs can be her friends, she LOVES attention from anyone
who gives it. Chelsea was brought unceremoniously to Gingers one night by a
family who decided that they no longer wanted to keep her. Her next stop was to
be the local pound...at seven, her chances of getting out of there would have
been slim to none; she would have probably sat terrified in the back of her
kennel run, wondering what she had done wrong to be left in such a scary place!
Two more lives dumped by those who were suppossed to protect them...now because
of this list, they will have the opportunity to know what it is to be TRULY
loved.
