Hi Sally, Is you sound sensitive grandchild left or right handed, or ambidextrous?? LOL There is some interesting research in Australia that correlates noise shyness with a lack of left or right dominant brain development. If a dog is ambedextrous chances are he's noise shy. They verified it with a bone and how the dog tends to 'hold' it during chewing - predominantly left or right pawed or both! Carmen Battaglia has mentioned it a couple of times. I'm trying to get a copy of the study and results but the gist of it is that early puppy neurological stimulation will aid in differentiating brain development and POSSIBLY stop noise sensitivity. I told you I was fun at Trivial Persuit!
