Dawn: I think that Jimmy made a mistake of judgment. Jimmy doesn't sit on the
board, therefore he didn't vote yes for Hunte's (hopefully rescinded)
membership! I don't think that he should be "boycotted" for poor judgment. Plus
think about this; Hunte could have sent an emissary to purchase a dog from any
general member. If they weren't aware of a Hunte connection, do you think that
they would deny a sale, especially when the emissary is prepped with all the
write answers. Then, who would be on the hot seat! A regular member! The Hunte
membership question seems to be on the right track. It is his board certified
enabler who earns our major attention.
And yes, Jimmy handled my Merck v Somerset at the 1998 National, to Winners Dog
and Best of Winners and I do think of him as a friend. I'll repeat that I think
Jimmy made a mistake of judgment, but he didn't write the By-Laws on membership
requirements.
That's just how I see.
